We're committed to quality, safety, client satisfaction, our people and the local community.About the Role:We're seeking a Trade Qualified Painter with experience managing multiple sites in the Townsville region.
This is a dynamic, "off-the-tools" leadership position reporting to our Branch Manager, where approximately 80% of your time will involve site visits and project coordination, with the remaining 20% spent in the office.Key Responsibilities:- Lead multiple concurrent commercial repaint projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness- Plan and allocate resources including labour, subcontractors, and materials- Monitor project progress and control costs to meet budgets and deadlines- Maintain compliance with WHS standards and company policies- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers- Supervise and mentor on-site teams, promoting safety and qualityWhat You'll Bring:- Trade qualification as a painter with experience in commercial projects- Proven ability to manage small teams of employees and subcontractors across multiple sites- Strong understanding of project budgets and cost estimating- Proficiency in electronic documentation and reporting- Commitment to safety standards and best practices- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team developmentWhy Higgins?
