Based across our two Brisbane properties, The Inchcolm by Ovolo and Ovolo the Valley, this is a role to make your own. We want to create the "Ovolo Experience" in conferencing and events. Forget about the boring corporate stuff happening everywhere else. We have two incredible buildings that cater for business, socials and weddings.

You will join a clever team of experienced event co-ordinators, sales, and food and beverage professionals who are not interested in doing standard boring events

**The gig - Full Time Events Coordinator**
- Bring your extensive events experience and commercial acumen to make this role your own.
- Your natural and compelling communication style will become known in this dynamic, fast paced, and challenging role which will see you co-ordinating a variety of corporate and social events.
- Build effective long-term relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers and requirements
- Assist in creating and executing an effective Events (MICE & Weddings) sales strategy and assist in reaching targets, ensuring priorities are clearly identified and actioned, through appropriate communication, delegation and self-management.
- Conduct site inspection, famils and site reconciliations in line with Ovolo brand guidelines
- Work with the food and beverage teams to ensure event operations are successul
- Represent Ovolo at all relevant trade shows and networking events
- Complete financial reporting and oversee client and partner database in conjunction with the sales team and correspondence as agreed with Management in accordance with deadlines

**Who you are**

You will also bring:

- A proven track record in event co-ordination
- Strong experience in conference and event operations and programs
- Creative approach to selling amazing event spaces
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational skills & attention to detail a must
- AMAZING personality with a natural ability to build rapport and build great relationships - you are the face of Ovolo
