Permanent Environmental Health Approvals position working with a local council

**Your new company**

Hays is working with a centrally located local council that is looking for a Coordinator of Health Approvals.

**Your new role**
- Implement, monitor and enforce the requirements of the Public Health Act 2016, Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1911, Food Act 2006, Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997, Local Government Act 1995 and City of Perth local laws, policies and procedures
- Support the Community Health Manager in the preparation of the team's business plans, monitoring and reporting, and in reviewing team practices, procedures and systems to ensure legislative compliance and to achieve gains in productivity and customer service

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Health, Environmental Science or similar
- Experience leading, supervising and mentoring a team
- Strong understanding of the legislative responsibilities and processes related to environmental health and local government
- 'C' Class driving licence
