About the Role
As the Practice Specialist, you'll be the key driver of clinical and practice excellence across the Vertaview Group, leading the development, evaluation and implementation of aged care and advocacy frameworks. You'll embed best practice into our systems, ensuring everything we do is safe, culturally responsive, person-centred, and above all, driven by outcomes that matter to our customers.
This role will work across major national frameworks, including:
Strengthened Aged Care Quality StandardsNDIS Practice StandardsNational Standards for Mental Health Services
You'll bring strong clinical insight, analytical thinking, and a hands-on approach to practice leadership, influencing how services are delivered, improved, and sustained across the Group.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead the development of aged care practice frameworks and contribute to cross-sector practice improvementReview and create clinical policies, procedures and manuals aligned with legislation and best practiceConduct holistic assessments of current practices, identifying risk and opportunity for growthDrive audit processes, data analysis, and reporting to support a culture of accountability and qualityDeliver training, education and coaching across the organisation to uplift capabilityRepresent Practice Excellence internally and externally, championing safety, rights, and care outcomesParticipate in SIRS and quality indicator reporting with high attention to detail and compliance
About You
You're a driven, values-led clinical professional with a passion for improving care systems, and a vision for what high-quality, person-centred aged care should look like. You bring:
Proven experience in Community Aged Care, ideally in a quality or governance roleIn-depth understanding of aged care standards, incident reporting (e.g. SIRS), and compliance requirementsExpertise in developing and implementing policy, audit tools, and training programsStrong analytical skills, able to use data to influence practice and mitigate riskExceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skillsA proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work across teams and systems
What You'll Need
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification + AHPRA RegistrationCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (paid) – or willingness to obtain Current Working with Children Check (paid) – or willingness to obtain Current Open, Unrestricted Driver's LicenceCompletion of NDIS Orientation Module: Quality, Safety & YouFull working rights in Australia
