**The Company**

Our client is a well-established and ambitious manufacturing and distribution business with a focus on construction products with a highly-specialised, market-leading specialist product range turning over more than $100M.

With a strong national footprint, they are a leading supplier of products to the construction, fire, civil, mining, HVAC, Hydrant and speciality fastening industries. This company has built on their early success through investment in product development and distribution lines, best practice manufacturing process and acquisition.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position requires an individual with strong sales mindset to play an integral role within the organisation, contributing to the success of the company's branch operations.

Supported by a talented Manager and quality training, you will be tasked with both internal sales and customer service in a dynamic, varied and vibrant hands on role.

**Responsibilities**

You will actively demonstrate a sales and customer service mindset and be responsible for customer sales / order management including:

- Answering inbound customer calls, provide quotations, enter orders into system accurately.
- Driving incremental sales and margin growth.
- Ensure the on time and in full delivery of customer orders through accurate and prompt quotations and order entry.
- Follow up open quotations on a weekly basis.
- Identifying opportunities to up sell an order and actively attempt these as a core behaviour.
- Update and maintain customer data in system.
- Client visits as required.

**Skills required**
- Sales focused and strong customer service mindset with good communication skills.
- Prior customer service or sales experience, ideally within the building/construction, fire, plumbing, electrical or related industries.
