**About the role**:
Play a critical role in maintaining social licence in the Riverina Murray region by leading on-ground engagement, implementing shared value and investment mechanisms, identifying emerging issues, and representing Origin at community forums, and stakeholder engagements.
**Why this role matters?**
- Lead the execution of the Yanco Delta Wind Farm (YDWF) Community Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
- Ensure consistent, transparent and culturally respectful engagement across the region.
- Build strong relationships with landholders, community groups, local government, Traditional Owners and regional institutions.
- Resolve community complaints and grievances in conjunction with the social performance team.
- Assess host community needs, assess risks and develop delivery and mitigation plans or policies which meet both stake holder and Origin's needs.
- Assess performance indicators of community investment mechanisms in place and recommend changes as required.
**What will you bring?**
- Significant experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, or social performance within regional and/or infrastructure project environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- The ability to navigate complex or sensitive discussions.
- Sound judgement and problem solving skills with eh ability to identify issues early and coordinate effective resolution
- Confident public speaker and facilitator with the ability to engage diverse audiences in formal and informal settings.
