Administration Officer - Office of the CEO Cook Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated Administration Officer to provide high-quality administrative support to the Office of the CEO.
This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of the executive office by assisting the CEO, Mayor, Councillors, and governance teams across a broad spectrum of functions.

You'll be: Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Office of the CEO, CEO, Mayor and Councillors.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, travel arrangements, and diary management.
Assist withgovernance and compliance administration.
Support Council meetings through agenda compilation, documentation, and logistical coordination.
Maintain and manage documentation using Council's records management systems.
Assist in grant application preparation, audit tracking, and risk management administration.
Provide cross-functional team support and help coordinate special projects or events.
What we're looking for A Qualification in business/office administration or equivalent experience.
At least 2-3 years' administrative experience, preferably in government or compliance-focused roles.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
A professional, customer-focused approach and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency inMicrosoft Office, and ideally, experience with document/content management systems.
A flexible, collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
