**Job Description**:
**More specifically, you will**:

- Establish and drive sales growth of SGS MIRAS projects in assigned region and against assigned customer targets;
- Grow the regional portfolio of SGS projects and coordinating the execution / project management of these projects from start to finish;
- Develop an excellent rapport with our existing customers and source new regional clients;
- Act as a regional focal point in relation to knowledge about the SGS MIRAS service line and integration with SGS global services;
- Define longer term strategies and (business) development objectives related to micro
- & molecular biology services;
- Liaise with members of the broader SGS network & laboratories and building SGS global capacity and expertise related to SGS MIRAS service execution;
- Establish the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate service line aspects and products;
- Follow up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise and keep customers informed about new technological products.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree qualified in microbiology, biology, biochemistry or other relevant sciences;
- Additional formal qualifications in sales, business and / or management skills would be preferable;
- 5-10 years relevant experience in a commercial setting with experience in developing service growth and securing new business;
- Oilfield or other industrial experience preferred;
- Able to travel extensively;
- Fluent in English.
