
Technical Pre-Sales Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Pre-Sales Lead to join our team. As a Technical Pre-Sales Lead, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, structure, and execution of technical pre-sales across our global operations.
You will work closely with Regional Technical Services Managers, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure our pre-sales engagements are compelling, efficient, and technically robust. With a clear focus on operational excellence, you'll drive process improvement, implement global standards, and mentor a distributed team of high-performing technical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and institutionalising global technical pre-sales processes and methodologies.
- Leading and coaching a regional team of technical pre-sales professionals.
- Supporting go-to-market efforts through technical validation, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Partnering with Sales, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment and a seamless customer experience.
- Defining KPIs, performance metrics, and governance frameworks for pre-sales excellence.
- Managing systems and tools to support reporting, knowledge sharing, and performance tracking.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership in scaling and optimising pre-sales functions across regions or business units.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
- Experience in mining technology, engineering software, or geoscience solutions is highly desirable.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Geoscience, or a related field.
