**About the role**

As the supply chain manager, you will manage strategic and operational Supply Chain and Logistic operations function properly across the organisation.

The supply chain manager will ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's Supply Chain activities and is fundamental in ensuring an agile, customer focused and sustainable operating model.

Your broad Supply Chain and Logistics toolkit will bring advanced knowledge and experience across the full spectrum of Supply Chain programs and initiatives including:

- Previous experience in establishing and executing a Supply Chain & Logistics framework and strategy.
- Dealing with negotiating contracts with suppliers on both national and international level.
- Overseeing and optimising the businesses warehouses and logistics footprint.
- A 'hands-on' leadership style, with the ability to work within diverse teams within the region.
- Managing relationship with all business stakeholders including freight forwarders.
- Managing a small Supply Chain and Logistics team effectively by setting objectives and defining development plans for direct reports.

**Job Requirements**
- A degree in business administration or related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing / trade supply/ industrial field.
- Knowledge of steel and mesh.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain process fundamentals of purchasing and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to amalgamate financial and non-financial information.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with the stakeholders.
