**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have an exciting dynamic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Food Safety and Quality Compliance officer to join our business. This hands-on position is responsible for driving HACCP / SQF based quality practices and compliance requirements to ensure that the required standards for food safety are maintained.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Planning, developing and reviewing SQF programs, standard operating procedures and other company specific material related to food safety and sanitation,
- Ensuring programs, SOPs and compliance standards are maintained throughout the business
- Monitoring the standards of hygiene, housekeeping, food safety, temperature compliance, allergen management, and quality
- Monitoring and ensuring all cleaning records, temperature records and calibration records are compliant
- Investigating complaints and closing out corrective actions relevant to non-conformances
- Working alongside supervisory staff to increase employee awareness of SQF systems including holding regular toolbox meetings to train and enforce quality practices throughout the business.
- Conducting regular GMP and Food Safety audits as per set schedule
- Provides technical support to managers.
