We're seeking an experienced and detail-driven Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing the next generation of energy projects.About the RoleYou'll be responsible for managing the full estimating lifecycle for major electrical infrastructure projects.
Working closely with our engineering, procurement and project delivery teams, you'll ensure the accuracy, competitiveness and timeliness of all submissions – while mentoring junior estimators and contributing to business strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of electrical cost estimates for substations, solar farms, wind projects and BESSDevelop and review BOQs, tender documentation and supplier/subcontractor pricingPerform risk analysis and recommend cost-effective strategiesInterface with clients, project managers and executive leadership during tender phasesMaintain and improve estimating systems and cost databasesSupport ongoing improvement of bid process and team capabilityAbout YouMinimum 10+ years of experience in electrical estimating within infrastructure or renewablesStrong understanding of HV systems and renewable project deliveryCommercial acumen and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholdersAdvanced Excel skills and experience with estimating softwareProven leadership and mentoring capabilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhy join PSD Energy?
