We are seeking a meticulous Recycling Technician to join our team to efficiently sort returned electrical and other damaged or faulty products for recycling purposes. In this role, you will be responsible for hand sorting various materials such as wires, metals, plastics, etc., ensuring accurate segregation into designated recycling bins.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Hand sort returned electrical and faulty products for recycling.
- Identify and segregate different materials including wire, metals, plastics, etc.
- Utilize small hand tools for dismantling as necessary.
- Ensure proper sorting and placement of materials into designated recycling bins.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the recycling area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Basic understanding of different materials and their properties.
- Proficiency in using small hand tools for dismantling tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Physical capability to lift and move items as required.
- Prior experience in recycling or related field is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $31.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
