Labourpower Trade are urgently seeking an experienced Technician to join our client in the manufacturing industry on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client specialises in packaging & recycling throughout Australia, NZ & Asia.

This is a Permanent Night Shift Position with an ASAP start at our client's Altona crate washing facility.

**About the position**

Fast-paced, State of the Art crate washing facility in Altona North looking for a Technician to join their operations team. You will report directly to the team supervisor & may be required to change from position to position as necessary through the shift, so versatility is a must

**About You**

The successful applicant will possess high Mechanical / Electrical / Technical abilities, the ability to work autonomously, think logically & work well in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

**To be Considered, you will have**
- High Mechanical / Electrical Aptitude
- Previous Exposure to automation & controls
- Previous experience as a competent Senior Operator in FMCG or similar Industry
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent time management & communication skills
- Troubleshooting & problem-solving abilities
- Forklift Ticket & Experience - Highly desired
- **Trade Background Preferred
- Fitter, Mechatronics, Instrumentation Technician Qualification**

You must be willing to undergo pre-employment medicals, a National Criminal history check & Drug and Alcohol testing.

**Salary**: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Altona North, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Service technician: 2 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
