**How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**:
The Contract Performance Officer supports the delivery of contract performance audit programs by conducting on site audits to ensure compliance with contract management plans and Chain of Responsibility legislation.
The objective of this position is to uphold quality service standards within the Waste and Recycling Branch, delivering high-level customer service and building strong relationships with service providers to drive continuous improvements in service delivery.

**What you will bring**:
- 2 - 4 years work experience in contract compliance and management, with demonstrated experience in implementing performance measurement, auditing and monitoring, including benchmarking.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor contract performance, contract management and administration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including the capacity to negotiate and liaise effectively with customers, stakeholders, and the ability to build and manage relationships critical to the delivery of Council's services.
- Ability to work independently and manage audits in diverse environments, including both on-site and off-site locations.
