About the Opportunity
We're seeking a Design Engineer to join our high-performing team at Malcolm Thompson Pumps near Perth Airport.
In this role you will provide end-to-end design solutions for pumping systems, mechanical components, and control systems while supporting our Engineering and Design team, branches and customers.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
Engage with customers to understand requirements and ensure solutions meet functional and commercial needs.
Engineer, design, and develop pumping system solutions.
Support branches in tender proposals and project planning.
Manage projects, oversee installations, and commission solutions to specification.
Provide advanced technical support and diagnostics.
Research and develop new products to address market opportunities.
Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
About You
Strong analysis, design, and diagnostic skills for pump systems.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks).
Experience preparing technical reports, proposals, and tender responses.
Excellent project management and commissioning experience.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and a desire to transfer knowledge to others.
