**As a Product Marketing Consultant, you will join a dynamic team and be exposed to all parts serve as an expert for the regions of Asia, India and Indonesia business for the following Earthmoving Products: Medium Wheel Loaders (MWL), Motor Graders (MG), Medium Track Type Tractors (TTTMD) and Track Type Loaders (TTL). In this role you will demonstrate your consultative skills along with your Sales & Marketing expertise to influence decisions and make recommendations that will support our strategic goals and contribute to GCI's (Global Construction Infrastructure Division) long-term market leadership in these 3 regions.

**Job Duties**:

- Engage with the Earthmoving Product Groups (PG), GCI industry field teams and other internal partners to drive collaboration to grow our sales in each region.
- Support the GCI industry field teams in their day-to-day business, Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP) and develop medium term strategies through projects, presentations and training.
- Partner with the Product Application Specialists (PAS) to create holistic product positioning proposals.
- Demonstrate creativity, business acumen along with strong marketing knowledge.
- Work with other divisions, such as Rental, Marcom, Pricing, Cat Finance to build strong Go-To-Market Plans.
- Lead business reviews in territories with the industry field teams and dealers. This will require a deep analysis of marketing's 5Ps and will lead to recommendations on growing sales.
- Report on business results and trends during the monthly roundtables with the various Product Groups and other internal partners.
- Provide input and recommendations on NPI sales forecast, products and geo mix changes as well as anticipating future market trends.
- Enable continued execution of GCI's Top 5 Tactics and 15 Disciplines strategy by identifying and communicating best practices across the regions.
- Create merchandising programs that support our field teams with execution of their goals, while balancing market leadership objectives and Sales Variance budget.
- Take a lead role in enabling the Cat/SEM collaboration internally as well as in each region to deliver on collective market leadership sales growth.

Generally, the role requires about 20% travel within assigned territories to drive collaboration with the sales teams and understand regional business conditions.

**Required Qualifications**:

- A degree in Sales & Marketing or 5-8 years of relevant industry experience
- Must be able to deal with sensitive issues and influence others
- Good human relations and communication skills to develop a collaborative/cooperative work relationship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work and remain detail oriented
- Strong organizational, planning, project, and budget management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal direct supervision on a day-to-day basis
- Strong understanding of Cat products and the segments/industries where they are sold
- General understanding of Caterpillar and Cat dealer processes
