About The Role
The successful candidate will demonstrate Northern Trust's technology/systems to current and prospective clients, including asset servicing and asset management clients, and train clients and internal partners on in-house systems. The role includes developing and project-managing new solutions for clients and serving as a liaison between Change, Client Service and Development teams.
Responsibilities
Consult with institutional trust and custody clients and prospects to analyze and determine digital product implementation needs (e.g., custom reporting or tailored digital solutions).
Act as the primary contact for assigned client relationships and provide high-touch client service through proactive interaction.
Manage the release of new products or updates and provide feedback to Product teams to aid development.
Collaborate with clients to identify gaps in technology/reporting, initiate project development, and monitor implementation plans to ensure product/report enhancements meet client expectations.
Serve as liaison between the client, change management, and development teams.
Work with clients/partners to devise technology-based solutions, including custom reporting or system development.
Understand client needs with the relationship manager and implement accordingly.
Coordinate and participate in training presentations on Northern Trust digital products for clients.
Stay informed of new and existing digital and data products and services to meet client needs.
Some travel may be required to visit clients/prospects, occasionally on short notice.
Experience
3-5 years' experience in master trust/custody or digital products and/or client servicing.
Knowledge of institutional trust/custody products and services; familiarity with custodian processing and systems capabilities to coordinate digital product implementation and enhancement.
Proficiency with PC applications to provide alternative solutions and strong presentation skills.
Organizational, analytical, negotiation and project management skills to direct implementation activities, prioritize tasks, and lead in a team environment.
Ability to manage client expectations, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with clients day-to-day.
