Aquent has partnered with a well-known Australian-owned business who are going through a very exciting time of innovation.

This role offers an amazing opportunity for an EXPERIENCE DESIGN LEAD / PRODUCT INNOVATION LEAD to help build a design remit from the ground up.

You will be joining the team as a 2IC, working closely with an inspiring HCD thought leader who is both a strategic lead & hands-on practitioner. This role will provide you with the opportunity to play a foundational role in creating & developing the vision for the design culture, operations, identity and innovation.

Within this role you will be working on a highly diverse range of projects & programs of work - from digital products & services, CX solutions and omnichannel deliverables, to future state service design / strategic design projects and more

Melbourne based

Salary circa $200k

**About the role**:
Supporting the development of the design culture, operations and identity

Offer thought leadership, mentorship and advice to team members and stakeholders

Advocate for design practice, design thinking etc by running & facilitate presentations & workshops across the business

Represent human-centred design and champion the customer in your everyday engagements with the business

Connect multidisciplinary stakeholders and partners around key end-to-end journey maps, blueprints and service or strategic design artefacts that you create

Balance desirability, viability and feasibility in service and experience design development

Lead in the development and management of design operations

**About you**:
Deep expertise in workshop facilitation

Strong HCD research skills such as ethnographic research methods, reframing, affinity diagramming, insight and behavioural analysis and synthesis

Strong communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, coaching and influencing skills at all levels within the organisation

Tools and methods for conducting design sprints, problem-framing, ideation workshops, rapid prototyping and feedback

Strong proficiency on collaborative design platforms such as Miro and Figma
