**About the Design Team**
- The Design team at PEXA is a small group of very talented individuals. We trust each other, support each other and challenge each other to be better designers. We collaborate on a daily basis, supporting the entire PEXA Group. We work closely with agile squads, product managers and technology teams. We focus on solving customer problems and aim to bring delight to PEXA products and solutions.

**What you'll be doing**:

- ** Deliver great design **- Lead Design operations to ensure our design and product teams are humming. Work closely with our design team and agile squads to ensure work is delivered on time and is aligned with PEXA's design principles and standards.
- ** Be a mentor and leader for your team** - Work closely with a distributed team of four designers across Australia, the UK and India. Help ensure that roles and responsibilities are clear in a matrix, dynamic structure. Work to remove blockers and we have a positive and engaging working environment.
- ** Collaborate** - Collaborate and provide direction to Designers, Business Analysts, Product Analysts and Developers in designing user experiences and processes. Run workshops with key stakeholders to ensure that requirements from a Design perspective are fully understood. Shephard new features through ideation, testing design and delivery.d.
- ** Test and validate our designs** - Build and implement a strong UX Research Plan. Conduct testing, monitor outcomes and iterate to improve our customer's experiences.
- ** Establish and advocate PEXA's Design System**: Help lead the continued maturity of PEXA's Design system. Work across PEXA Group to establish, document and driving uptake of the PEXA's Design system, helping ensure consistency and reusability of our UI components and principles
- ** Promote Strategic thinking** - Help us improve, remove blockers and uplift our design maturity. Work on a roadmap, with incremental improvements towards a vision for design at PEXA.

**What you'll bring to the table**:

- Experience leading a team of designers working on a global, multi-market product
- Demonstrable experience designing with Agile delivery teams while prioritising customer-centric user interfaces for new SaaS products.
- Experience delivering design for large projects in fast-moving and ambiguous environments. The ability to lead the resolution of high-level design questions and effectively advocate for the chosen solution.
- Experience working with teams across multiple time zones.
