Cyber Security Transformation Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Transformation Lead to join our team and lead high-profile cyber security transformation projects. This role offers a premium daily rate and flexible hybrid work setup.
The ideal candidate will have proven success in managing cyber security projects, strong knowledge of cyber standards (ISM, Essential 8), and hands-on experience with cyber assurance and compliance uplift.
Owning end-to-end delivery of major cyber security projects
Building high-performing project teams and leading them to success
Embedding cutting-edge cyber standards and uplift into business-as-usual
Managing senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, politically aware environment
Driving assurance activities that deliver measurable improvements in security
Key Responsibilities:
Cyber Security Project Management:
Own and manage the delivery of large-scale cyber security projects from initiation to closure
Team Leadership:
Build and lead high-performing project teams to achieve project objectives
Cyber Standards Embedment:
Develop and implement strategies to embed cutting-edge cyber standards and best practices into business-as-usual
Stakeholder Management:
Manage and engage with senior stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and effective communication
Assurance Activities:
Drive and deliver assurance activities to measure and improve security posture
Requirements:
Cyber Security Experience:
Proven success in managing cyber security projects, programs, or portfolios
Cyber Standards Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of cyber standards, including ISM and Essential 8
Cyber Assurance:
Hands-on experience with cyber assurance and compliance uplift
Leadership Presence:
Excellent leadership presence, stakeholder savvy, and ability to deliver under pressure
PRINCE2 Certification:
PRINCE2 certification or equivalent
