Job Opportunity: Cyber Security Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Lead to join our global team in Brisbane or Sydney. As a key member of our security unit, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining advanced security protocols, conducting comprehensive security assessments, managing and responding to complex security incidents, and providing expert technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and enhancement of monitoring security alerts and events using advanced security information and event management tools.
  • Comprehensive analysis of security logs, network traffic, and data to detect and respond to sophisticated threats.
  • Leadership and management of investigations into complex high-impact security incidents, conducting thorough root cause analysis and impact assessments.
  • Expertise as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cyber security specialists, providing guidance and support.
Requirements:
  • Cyber security and/or IT experience with proven track record.
  • Metric reporting and KPI/SLA management skills.
  • Experience with security technologies including firewalls, SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection.
  • Knowledge and understanding of offensive security principles.
  • Delivering and guiding high-performance teams with BAU initiatives.
  • Practical understanding of various security tool applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a track record of establishing effective relationships and collaborating with stakeholders.
