Job Description

Our organization seeks a seasoned Cyber Security Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operational services and deliver the Cyber plan as defined by senior management.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Cyber Security Project Delivery function and be responsible for maintaining the client's ISO 27001 certification, including appropriate Information Security policies and associated standards in partnership with ICT leaders and Risk and Resilience teams.

The successful applicant will also monitor the day-to-day performance of our outsourced managed security service provider, prepare audit reports and responses as needed, create interactive approaches to drive employee maturity around cyber security behaviors, and build and maintain cyber security awareness training materials for staff.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for operational management of the third-party cyber risk management process (TPRM) and associated framework compliance, ensuring record keeping and sensitive data is stored and disposed in accordance with legislative requirements.

The Cyber Security Team Lead will act as the cyber security incident manager where required and run lessons learned and root cause analysis exercises to ensure a thorough incident management lifecycle is in place.

In partnership with ICT leaders, the successful candidate will contribute to enhancements in Business Continuity planning across the enterprise and model best practice to other business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain client's ISO 27001 certification and associated Information Security policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering or related field of study.
  • 5+ years' experience in technology.
  • 2+ years' experience in Cyber security.
  • Previous experience leading a small team of security analysts.
  • Experience with QG:IS18 standard and knowledge of the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) act.
  • Formal industry certification including CISSP, CISA, Cybersecurity Analyst Professional Certificate, Certified Information Security Manager or equivalent demonstrated experience.
