Cyber Security Expert Role

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security expert to support the uplift of cyber security maturity and capability across Australia's energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in coordinating with government authorities and energy market participants to respond effectively to cyber security incidents.

  • Develop and enhance frameworks used to inform cyber security maturity uplift across grids and markets.
  • Coordinate cyber security research activities on emerging issues affecting energy grids and markets.
  • Promote a shared understanding of the cyber threat environment.

This position requires your expertise in the energy sector to forge effective collaborations and partnerships to address cyber security challenges. You will apply your knowledge of energy transformation and cyber security challenges to optimize sector level responses to cyber threats and their management.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the energy sector supporting critical infrastructure resilience and cyber security initiatives.
  • Effective analysis and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of security control and maturity frameworks relevant to the energy sector.
  • Contemporary knowledge of cyber adversary techniques and tradecraft.
  • Procurement program and project management skills.
  • Financial scheduling and resource management skills.
  • Ability to travel interstate and work flexible hours.
