The Role of a Case Manager in Supporting Injured Workers
">In this position, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims, providing exceptional service to all stakeholders, and supporting injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse and collaborative team that includes specialist roles such as New Employment Specialists, Technical Specialists, Clinical Advisors, Mental Injury Specialists, and Mobile Case Managers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice on workers compensation to stakeholders
- Undertaking ongoing entitlement reviews
- Assisting workers and employers with the claim process
- Managing rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans
- Proceeding with case management to achieve early sustainable return to work
To succeed in this role, you will have experience managing claims in the workers compensation industry or personal injury environment, high attention to detail, organisational skills, resilience, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
