Cultivate national and international partnerships that expand our Sub-Faculty's reputation and impact.

Ensure financial sustainability and operational effectiveness.
\
Oversee governance, research contracts, ethics, compliance and intellectual property.
\
Foster clinical and translational research collaborations across the Alfred Research Alliance.
\
Identify emerging opportunities for innovation, capability building and funding.
\
Support and mentor researchers, particularly early and mid-career leaders.
\
Represent us on senior committees and in external forums to influence health research priorities.

About You
\
To be successful in this role, you will have:
\
\
A medical specialist qualification in an area of expertise relevant to the Sub-Faculty and Alfred Health.
\
PhD or equivalent research doctorate in a relevant health or medical discipline.
\
Fellowship of a recognised medical college and registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA without conditions.
\
Senior academic standing with an outstanding record of research and teaching.
\
Internationally recognised research achievements, with a strong track record in competitive grant funding and high-impact publications.
\
Strategic and financial acumen, with the ability to lead complex organisations.
\
Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
\
A deep understanding of research governance, ethics, intellectual property and clinical–academic partnerships.
\
A demonstrated commitment to health equity, innovation and transformative leadership.
