Global Health Leadership Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee our Global Health function, driving quality and innovation in our global health program. This is a critical role that requires strategic thinking, strong stakeholder relationships, and a passion for improving health outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Global Health Program quality through developing strong links with key stakeholders. This includes fostering a culture of learning and innovation to achieve improved health outcomes for people in communities we partner with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic planning and delivery of RACS' Global Health strategic priorities in line with global best practice.
  • Oversee all program design, implementation and evaluation across all RACS Global Health activities.
  • Manage staff to ensure efficient and effective program systems that lead to high quality submissions.
  • Oversee all financial and contract management activity for RACS Global Health.
  • Support the development of Monitoring & Evaluation tools and systems.
  • In collaboration with the RACS executive develop key relationships with Government partners, regional and national partners, and donors.

Requirements:

  • Graduate and post-graduate qualifications in relevant discipline.
  • Significant experience in health development planning and/or delivery in low and middle income countries.
  • Extensive management experience with ability to lead a team overseeing large programs.
