Experience Australia's largest annual ticketed event from a new perspective in this exciting opportunity to join the Sydney Royal Easter Show (SRES) Operations Team
**About the Role**
Throughout the year as **Coordinator, SRES Event Operations & Services **you will be responsible for assisting with project coordination, signage requirements and installation across the site as well as other SRES related projects, operations, and service.
With over 800,000 visitors to the Show each year this role is not for the feint hearted At Show time be prepared to roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself into full Show operations. You will be responsible for a customer service team, and will be coordinating team rosters, bump in and out of the SRES Customer Service Centre, Lost Persons Centre, and Parents rooms and overseeing the operations of these centres. Yes, this role can be demanding, but you will be fully trained and supported by the SRES Operations team.
**About you**
You will know the principles of excellent customer service and be pivotal in providing strong administrative and operational support to ensure initiatives under this team are executed correctly. You will be a quick thinker and a have a level of resilience to deal with the demands of this role, so working to strict deadlines, and good time management with a hands-on approach is essential.
**You will also have**
- Demonstrated experience in events/exhibitions and/or project management
- Highly skilled in customer service with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform under high stress and pressure environments
- Ability working with numerous stakeholders
- Experience managing a small team
- Strong communication and literacy skills
- Intermediate - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite

We manage the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry, and the Sydney Showground. The RAS has a team of over 130 full-time staff and an indispensable pool of casual staff who work on the Easter Show, and other Sydney Showground events.
