You will help to identify key value drivers, challenge assumptions about future performance, search for and advise on hidden value, and work with other EY service teams to deliver an integrated approach to our clients before, during and after the transaction.This is a hybrid position based inMeanjin – Brisbane.Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.
Please speak with us about potential options.Your key responsibilities Participate in due diligence engagements related to the acquisition or disposal of businesses by private equity investors or strategic corporate buyers.
Analyse financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records, conducting interviews with management, and preparing/evaluating pro forma financial information.Identify and analyse key value drivers to deliver financial and commercial insights, which directly impact deal value and deal structuring.
Based on your analysis, write up your findings and recommendations, and project manage information flows while managing key stakeholders.Working with colleagues from other disciplines on multi-faceted projects in cross border environments.Assist Partners and Directors with business development activities and initiatives, contributing to proposals and new business opportunities.Skills and attributes for successIdeally, you'll have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.Hold a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
