Based at our Auburn Winery, the Vineyard Operations Manager role will work closely with the Viticulture Team and have responsibilities for leading and managing our Vineyard team. This important role for the business will require your technical and people skills to be applied across all aspects of the Estate Vineyard operations using best practice techniques with an emphasis on safety, quality and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements
- Experience & commitment working in an environment committed to Food Safety, Work Health and Safety, and Environment/Sustainability;
- Demonstrable and extensive Vineyard operation experience;
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills in a Vineyard and broader team setting;
- Exhibits our company RIPPIR Values (Respect, Integrity, Performance, Partnership, Innovations & Recognition)

Other key skills and experience include:

- Degree or Diploma in relevant field (highly desirable);
- Industry experience with exposure to a variety of grape growing environments;
- Can demonstrate the key supervisory qualities:

- Empathy & compassion
- Ability to delegate
- Problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, consistency;
- Time & priority management;
- Confidence in decision making, communicating and humbly accept responsibility for a productive positive culture.
- Holds HRW (forklift), HC and ChemCert licences.
