About the Position

The Vineyard Operations Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive site operational plan, working under managerial direction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating monthly and weekly site work programs to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Participating in strategic planning and implementing site strategies and objectives to drive business growth.
  • Fostering innovation in work practices through best practice integration, resulting in improved production outcomes.
  • Preparing and monitoring project plans for capital projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Assisting with budget development and expense control to maximize resource allocation.
  • Implementing continuous improvement processes to minimize costs and enhance quality.

About You

Candidates should possess a tertiary qualification in viticulture or agri-business management, or equivalent experience. Essential requirements include:

  • Leadership skills and experience to drive team performance.
  • Commercial acumen and human resource management expertise to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a work team and drive innovation to achieve business objectives.
