Assistant Vineyard Manager Position

Pettavel Group operates multiple vineyards in Geelong and Yarra Valley's cool climate wine regions targeting the premium wine market with perfect grapes for quality wines.

Job Overview

We seek an experienced Assistant Vineyard Manager to manage our vineyards as our current Vineyard Manager retires. This opportunity allows you to grow into a senior role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Suggest implement and review viticulture programs
  • Collaborate with management to achieve production goals including crop forecasting
  • Prioritize tasks to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Supervise teams and contractors on daily operations
  • Operate and maintain tractors and agricultural machinery
  • Apply a hands-on approach from pruning to harvesting

The successful applicant will have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.


Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a strong understanding of viticulture principles and practices as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
