**About the role**:
The Team Leader, Food, Tobacco & e-cigarettes, is responsible for leading a team and ensuring the effective delivery of regulatory functions in relation to food safety, tobacco and e-cigarettes. The Team Leader will use their knowledge and experience to support, coordinate and administer the team's regulatory functions and monitor and enforce compliance in accordance with the relevant legislation.

**About you**:

- Certificate IV in Government Investigations, additional tertiary qualification in a relevant field (physics, science, regulation, law, environment) would be highly regarded.
- Experienced in leading, managing, coordinating and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and deliver compliance and evaluation strategies to address specific regulatory issues.
- Experienced in regulatory and public policy work as well as knowledge of relevant government legislation.
- Demonstrated experience in regulatory and public policy work, preferably related to registration, compliance, field investigations, gathering of admissible evidence and permitting functions as well as knowledge of relevant government legislation.
