Job Summary

The Victorian Department of Health plays a critical role in shaping the health system to meet the needs of all Victorians.

About the Role
  • Lead a team and ensure effective delivery of regulatory functions in relation to food safety, tobacco, and e-cigarettes.
  • Use knowledge and experience to support, coordinate, and administer the team's regulatory functions and monitor compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve regulatory objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on regulatory activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or additional tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience in leading, managing, coordinating, and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and deliver compliance and evaluation strategies.
  • Experience in regulatory and public policy work, including knowledge of relevant government legislation.
