Exciting Opportunity in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
This is a unique chance for a dedicated and enthusiastic Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to make a meaningful contribution to the Safeguards Team in our district.
About the Role
Provide medical leadership to the senior team, offering innovative, collaborative, and best practice care to children and young people aged 0-17 years who are experiencing acute mental distress.
Work closely with the Clinical Lead in building partnerships to ensure seamless provision of care for this population.
Be actively involved in ongoing evaluation and development of the model of care.

The Safeguards Team is part of an established interdisciplinary Child Youth and Family Mental Health stream, working towards improving the health of our local community and enhancing patient experience.
Requirements
Possess or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent as provided by the Health Insurance Act 1997.
Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Current NSW driver's licence.
Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development and reflective practice.
