Seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to provide medical leadership to the Safeguards Team. The team delivers innovative, collaborative and best practice time-limited care to children and young people aged 0-17 years who are experiencing acute mental distress.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the Safeguards Team and work closely with the Clinical Lead to build partnerships for seamless provision of care
- Be actively involved in ongoing evaluation and development of the model of care
- Participate in a District-wide CYF-MH Consultant after-hours roster
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent
- Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Current NSW driver's licence
- Working with Children Check required
- Required vaccinations prior to commencing employment
