The Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Safeguards Team in Penrith, providing care to the Blue Mountains and Lithgow region.
Job OverviewThis position involves working as part of a collaborative interprofessional team to provide comprehensive mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership to the senior team and work closely with the Clinical Lead in building partnerships to ensure seamless provision of care for the population.
- Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and development of the model of care.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent.
- Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Opportunity to contribute to person-centered, recovery-oriented, family-inclusive, trauma-informed, and need-adapted principles of care.
- Collaborative interprofessional context including lived-experience professionals.
- Participation in a District-wide CYF-MH Consultant after-hours roster.
