Essential Responsibilities
- Own day to day responsibility for orders in a product category aligned by commodity or business unit.
- Escalate OOS/EMG & business critical items per Customer & Account Mgr request.
- Help establish day to day priority orders from commercial team lens. Highlight recurring past due on time delivery issues to drive category delivery improvements for the business/Customer including consideration for changes to lead times or stocking policy.
- Align closely with fulfillment leaders to reduce cycle/lead times and minimize material delays.
- Liaise with Customer Experience Leaders (CEL), Supply Chain, and Planning business counterparts to ensure On Time Parts Delivery.
- Coordinate with CEL's to verify numbers for parts sales in region, adjusting numbers according to material availability and assisting with management of customer's expectations.
- Translate customer needs / requirements into detailed project plans while driving internal execution to meet project targets.
Additional Responsibilities:
- To comply with Wabtec Corporate & local Environment, Health & Safety requirements at all times.
- Professionally represent Wabtec at all times, but especially during all customer communications.
- Actively contribute to all continuous process improvement efforts within the Customer Service COE.
- Document retention consistent with Wabtec Corporate policy.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Experience with Customer Service and Expediting deliveries.
- Experience with expediting spare parts.
- Knowledge of supply chain businesses processes.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Highly organized.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Accustomed to working under pressure, dealing with conflicting demands.
- Willingness to undertake the varying day to day responsibilities of this position and keen to adopt new challenges.
