What you'll do:
As a Social Media Manager for Sky Zero & other product offerings, you will be a key member of the Social Media team at Sky, product & platforms campaigns, always on and providing day-to-day support to the Head of Social and wider social team. Sky Zero is Sky's commitment to be net zero carbon by 2030

Your role will include but is not limited to:

- Alongside Senior Social Media managers, leading social media campaigns that encompass a range of Sky's Zero mission and product portfolio across social channels.
- Own our organic and paid product franchise content through scheduling posts, writing copy and driving community management to ensure we are building an engaged community.
- Creative ideation across campaigns & supporting the wider social team with workshops, social and environmental trend insights and keeping on the pulse with social platform updates.
- Working with Mediacom and our internal performance team to bring to life our always-on paid strategy and corresponding measurement approach and really own the Sky Zero and other product presence across paid and organic
- Own reporting of post performances and campaigns (including paid spend), using those learnings to improve campaign approaches and be proactive with content ideas driven by insight.
- Work with our marketing partners to ensure our brand activity synchs with the trading activity activated by other parts of the business as well as working with our PR and Influencer teams to deliver integrated campaigns with aligned influencer and own channel publishing.
- Becoming an ambassador for excellent social content within the department - which includes being the contact for day-to-day social asks around the business.
- Inputting into social media strategies, advising on how to best use social to achieve business objectives.
- Working closely with the social newsroom team on reactive content for Sky Zero when particular news stories/trends are trending to ensure Sky Zero is involved in the conversation.

What you'll bring:

- 3 years digital social media experience. Experience within a news/media or Entertainment field is desired
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively to senior team members
- A passion for sustainability
- A can-do attitude, happy to create and publish content
- Some experience working on paid and organic social
- Ability to form strong relationships with multiple internal and external partners
