Join our Kids' Early Learning team at Blacktown City Council as a casual Child Care Aide.
The role focuses on planning and implementing a program of developmentally appropriate activities and maintaining a high standard of care for the group of children assigned, in consultation with the Director Child Care and other Kids' Early Learning team members.
About Kids' Early Learning
Kids' Early Learning is the childcare business owned and operated by the Council, with a portfolio of 31 childcare centres and over 40 family daycare educators.
Kids' Early Learning has approximately 300 full-time, part-time and casual staff, and operates throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 2000 families and providing care and learning needs for their children.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate casual Child Care Aides to contribute to the well-being and development of the children in our care.
This position is responsible for planning and implementing a program of developmentally appropriate activities and maintaining a high standard of care for the group of children assigned, in consultation with the Director Child Care and other Kids' Early Learning team members.

Essential qualifications and experience
Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services) or equivalent as specified in the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations 2018
Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm
Current certificate HLTAID009 Provide CPR
Current certificate HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate that meets requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018
Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work
Desirable
A minimum of 12 months relevant work experience
Current class C driver's licence
Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
Remuneration and Benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.
Entry level for this position starts at $34.6237 per hour plus 25% casual loading

This position has been identified as child related work.
