In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and organisation of the Council's Child Care Centre including the provision of a high-quality program of care and education for the children.You will also look after the supervision and development of the centre educators and workers for maintaining the effective function of the service.EssentialQualifications and experienceRecognised University Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (3 or 4 Year Qualification)Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of HarmMeet all requirements for Authorised/Nominated Supervisor as listed in the Education and Care Services National Law and Education and Care Services National Regulations 2018First Aid CertificateAnaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training, which meets requirements of the ECS National Regulations 2018Minimum experience of two years (2) in a child care field as Authorised/Nominated SupervisorWorking With Children Check NumberClearance of National Police Check.DesirableCurrent class C driver's licenceKnowledge of applicable legislation/regulations.Remuneration And BenefitsThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.Entry level for this position starts at $1,861.14 per week35-hour working weekRostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnightEmployee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.This position has been identified as child related work, in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013.
