About the role

At Hydraulink Australia we operate in a diverse, fast-moving environment This role will see you joining our Smithfield based training team to share your knowledge of and passion for hydraulics with our wider Hydraulink network. In this role, no two days will ever be the same and you will be the type of person that enjoys being hands on and interacting with a range of people within the business.
The responsibility for this role is split between providing technical/product warranty support and training. Regular travel would be required across Australia.
**Some of your responsibilities will include**:
Sharing your knowledge of hydraulics by providing nationwide helpdesk support to the wider Hydraulink on all technical and product related enquiries.
Providing technical assistance and support to the sales team and other areas of the business as needed.
Cataloguing and indexing of technical information, production of manuals, and reports.
Managing all product related warranties across Australia.
Delivering training programmes offered by Hydraulink.
Collecting and maintaining participants training records after each training event.
Assisting with administering and developing Hydraulink's Learning Management System.
Assisting with the ongoing development and design of industry leading technical training programmes.
About the person
You may be a hydraulic hose technician looking for a change in career or someone with experience in a mechanical trade who is looking to get off the tools but stay in an industry that they love.
**To succeed in the role we are looking for**:
2+ years working experience with hydraulic hoses and fittings or in the hydraulic, pneumatic or motion control industry.
The ability to deliver training sessions to around 8 - 10 people in a professional manner.
The ability to build rapport and engage with participants whilst conducting training programs in a classroom or onsite setting.
The ability to trouble shoot and assess product performance and warranty issues and develop investigation reports and recommendations.
A good understanding of Microsoft 365 and able to use a computer with confidence.
Well-developed time management skills, strong attention to detail and sound administration skills.
Comfortable working with equipment and tools during training sessions
