As the Manager Internal Communications, you'll be responsible for developing and executing internal communications and engagement strategies that engage, inspire, and connect our people to RACQ's overall business strategy. You will lead a small team to deliver creative, fit-for-purpose, and engaging strategic and operational campaigns, and strengthen the voice of our people through key channels.
**About the role**:
- Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications and engagement strategies that support RACQ's Group strategy
- Design and advise on communications for the Group CEO and executive team and shape messaging to support understanding and engagement with our strategic objectives.
- Work closely with the People and Culture leadership team to define the 'tone of voice' in our internal communications, ensuring this is aligned to our Employee Value Proposition and desired culture, and supports the delivery of our People and Culture strategic objectives.
- Work closely with the broader Strategy and Culture leadership team to deliver impactful campaigns across key strategic programs such as our sustainability agenda.
- Engage with senior management across RACQ and provide expert internal communications advice and support to senior leaders that will deliver a positive employee experience.
- Lead the effective delivery of high-quality employee engagement events and leader forums such as the annual Employee Expo, Milestones recognition event, CEO Forums (strategy roadshows), and People Leader Forums
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand identity across all touchpoints.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact on internal communications and make recommendations and improvements to enhance the effectiveness of campaigns and activities.
**About you**:
- 7-10 years in a communications role with leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft SharePoint in managing intranet content.
- Experience with digital communications, including internal social media tools.
- Experience planning and running small to medium events.
- Experience video shooting and editing desirable.
- Qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent
