We're Hiring: Community Engagement Officer (Casual)

Tuesdays & Fridays | 2:00-5:00pm | 6 hours/week

Are you passionate about building connections and creating vibrant community experiences? We're seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Community Engagement Officer to help coordinate and promote a variety of programs that bring people together.

**Position Details**:

- Casual Role - 2 days/week (Tuesdays & Fridays)
- Hours - 3 hours/day (2:00-5:00pm)
- Location - 1/69 Truganina Road, Malaga
- Availability - Be available during the scheduled hours (including during school holidays)
- Opportunity For Additional Hours as the role grows and as Program demands increase

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Foster meaningful relationships with community members and partners
- Coordinate all aspects of our Sporting Schools Programs
- Ensure Birthday Parties are managed, staffed and promoted
- Promote and organise School Holiday Camps
- Maintain a vibrant and consistent social media presence
- Create and distribute engaging monthly newsletters
- Collaborate with the City of Bayswater to deliver external Programs
- Ensure Adult Classes are staffed, promoted and remain viable
- Schedule Private Lessons when required, and manage staffing logistics
- Assist with planning and execution of Fundraising Events
- Provide Program Reports as and when they fall due

**About You**:

- Must have experience in social media management
- Must have strong administration skills including use of Outlook, Microsoft and Canva
- Must be available Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:00-5:00pm
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Experience in community gymnastics-based programs, events, or recreation is a bonus
- Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
- Applicants with gymnastics knowledge and experience will be given priority
- Be able to assist with reception duties / answer phones and deliver customer service
