Your Team
Our Internal Audit team are based in our central office and in offices across the state, working across all areas of the department's operations and functions, conducting audits and providing professional advice to support its strategic direction. Our audits are data driven and rely on high quality analytics to inform testing and we continually seek to extend and improve our use of data to inform our planning and audit delivery.
We foster an inclusive and diverse team with a shared goal to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department's governance, risk management and internal control processes. Our audit plans cover our network of schools as well as our corporate environments.
Your Role
As the Support Services Coordinator you will be a vital member of the Internal Audit team providing efficient and timely administrative, financial and human resource management support across the branch, ensuring compliance with relevant departmental standards, policies and procedures to contribute to the effective operation of the team.
The Support Services Coordinator reports to the Head of Internal Audit, Internal Audit Branch.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Liaise with relevant areas throughout the department on budgeting, administrative, personnel, information technology, records management and human resource management matters.
- Undertake purchasing and procurement activities in compliance with departmental procedures.
- Provide financial services including the processing of payments, supporting the preparation of monthly budget reports, monitoring of budgets, asset maintenance and verification of financial data.
- Provide human resource services support including timesheet reconciliations, leave reporting, establishment, recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and business arrangements for the branch as required.
- Develop, implement and review administrative processes and procedures in a collaborative manner to identify improvement practices that enhance administrative support services to the branch.

About You
- Proficiency in SAP, Content Manager and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in budget monitoring with excellent attention to detail, demonstrating sound financial and administrative knowledge.
- Experience in supporting HR processes including knowledge of relevant legislation and directives.
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to providing high quality customer service and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, promoting a collaborative team culture, supporting and assisting colleagues in a proactive manner to deliver high quality support across the branch.
