OverviewNational Business Development and Intake ManagerNDIS - National Business Development and Intake Manager:We are seeking a proactive and experienced National Business Development and Intake Manager to join our team.
In this pivotal role, you will provide operational leadership and management across all NDIS services, ensuring inclusive outcomes for individuals and families accessing our disability service.
You will be responsible for managing initial assessments, intake, and onboarding of new participants, as well as driving business growth through strategic sales and marketing.The Opportunity:Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Development Manager will drive and deliver Gratitude's growth strategy to support more people to live happier, healthier and more independent lives.
The role is responsible for generating, nurturing and converting leads through highly developed relationship management skills in a defined region and being an outstanding brand ambassador while working closely with the Workforce & Operations network, BD network and Service Delivery team.ResponsibilitiesLeading and contributing to a market leading national growth and sales cultureBuilding and managing processes for relationship management, and nurturing and converting business opportunitiesEstablishing and building and maintaining strong and sustainable relationships with funding bodies and relevant stakeholdersIdentifying, triaging, assessing, and onboarding clients while ensuring a positive experienceCoordinating with the operations and support divisions and ensure seamless client onboarding and service deliveryOwning conversation targets and plans across all stages of customer journeyGenerate and convert leads through sales and marketing initiativesBuild and maintain strong local community and referral networksManage the initial assessment, intake, and onboarding processes for new participantsProvide advice and information to potential clients, careers, parents, and familiesFoster positive working relationships with external stakeholdersPrepare monthly reports for the General ManagerMaintain clear and accurate recordsDrive business development and recruitment initiativesIdentify and secure new SIL homes/properties for participantsSupervise support staff and services, ensuring positive support for participantsMaintain and build relationships with existing participants, Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, and Allied Health ProfessionalsManage the SIL Participant onboarding processSupport participants, families, and carers in understanding and accessing our services and policiesAct as the 'face' of the business, building brand awarenessNetwork across the disability and community care sectorAttend Expos, Forums, Open days, and Networking events to promote our support servicesQualifications and experienceNational Police Records CheckNDIS Worker Screen or willingness to obtainEvidence of work rightsPreparedness to undertake some intra and interstate travelBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Services Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience in a Business Development role within the community disability spaceAdept understanding and knowledge of the NDIS, Disability and Aged Care sectorsEstablished and/or the ability to build strong relationships with customers, case managers and other key stakeholdersPrevious experience transitioning NDIS participants from hospitalDemonstrated ability to work with a high level of independence and autonomyWell-developed time management skills ensuring stakeholder expectations are metHigh level of written and verbal communicationWhat's in it for youOpportunity to work for the nation's largest health and aged care provider, with a rapidly growing and progressive visionFriendly team environment with a great community care spiritEmployee Assistance Program for staff and their familiesApplication questionsTo help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory / salary below minimum wage.Researching careers?
