**What if you could play a more hands-on role in helping injured workers get back on their feet?**

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Case Manager who is looking to develop by taking on a key challenging portfolio in our Canberra Team. The successful applicant will manage their own portfolio of High Risk claims including return to work and medical expense management. This vital member of the team will demonstrate a professional approach and ability to build strong customer relationships with key stakeholders' including employers, medical professionals and legal professionals.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Maintaining and improving technical knowledge across all facets of claims management.
- Proactively manage claims within delegated authority level to achieve the most cost-effective outcome within the framework of the legislation, identifying and managing return to work barriers on individual claims.
- Ensure customer service standards are maintained taken for prompt resolution of enquiries.

**Important to your success**:

- An energetic and motivated approach to managing a demanding portfolio
- Case management experience in Workers Compensation (ideally front-end / Corporate claims). Consideration will be given to case management experience in insurance, other statutory insurance schemes (e.g. CTP), or human social services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage your time and prioritise work tasks effectively
- Superior customer service and communication skills
- Advanced PC skills
