Now proudly Australia's most highly awarded distillery, we produce a diverse range of whiskies, gins, vodkas and rums, as well as one-off collaborations and limited releases.The RoleOur dynamic and growing blending team is looking for a passionate and gifted Spirits Blender to assist the Master Distiller and Lead Spirits Blender in shaping the future of Australian spirits.
To be successful in this role, the applicant will be a driven and committed professional with at least one year working in sensory analysis or beverage manufacturing.
You will have a strong working knowledge of distilled spirits or related alcoholic beverages, and their sensory attributes.Archie Rose is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
We invite people of all backgrounds and identities to apply for this role.Key Responsibilities :Screening sensory attributes of work in progress distilled spirits (Rye Whisky, Single Malt Whisky, Gin, Vodka, Rum)Generating limited release and core finished products from work-in-progress componentsManaging quality assurance on bottling line functions and product raw materialsManaging inventory availability forecasts and reportsParticipating and running daily sensory panels for work-in-progress and finished productsTaking and maintaining precise quantitative and qualitative recordsRegulatory recordkeeping and inventory management complianceMaintenance of a safe work environment by adhering to WH&S proceduresYou have :Strong sensory acuity, with a skillset in tasting and analysing spiritsFormal qualifications in sensory analysis, food science, distilling or engineering are desirableExcellent Excel and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to learn new tasks quicklySeniority levelSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesBeverage ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Archie Rose Distilling Co. by 2xGet notified about new Spirits Blender jobs in Greater Sydney Area .
