The Sous Chef Role
We are seeking an experienced Chef with outstanding leadership, organisational and communication skills.
We create exceptional experiences for all of our guests, and our people are at the heart of this.
As Head Chef, you will be responsible leading, coaching and developing our team to be the best they can be while delivering exceptional experiences to our guests.
In addition to this, you will ensure the smooth running of the kitchen including management of profit, stock, wastage control, hygiene practices and training.
You\'ll pride yourself in ensuring the Kitchen team are energised, motivated and well placed to deliver consistency of standards and a high level of performance and presentation.
Your responsibilities
Working with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage to design and deliver a range of menus including a la carte, functions, in-room dining and degustation
Overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that the quality of our output exceeds customer expectations
Guiding the kitchen team to ensure consistent quality in food, appearance, and taste
Maintaining the quality of food preparation
Developing the skills of all kitchen employees through appropriate training, coaching, or mentoring
