Job DescriptionYou will provide customer support and engineering through the performance of small projects, on-site installation, and troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment.
The Field Service Engineers work with our customers to maintain a thoughtful and productive manufacturing system.We ask that you have vision, creativity, technical engineering expertise, and a willingness to travel.
Ensure that the individual parts of a system can work together to perform the desired application.
Take ownership of the complete system or solution, which encompasses RA, third-party, and user aspects, not only the individual components.
Be able to increase the application of all RA family of products and portfolio offerings to meet customer's needs.Your Responsibilities :Attend to field service work.Provide technical assistance and field service to customers by performing one or more of the following things.Engineering assistance application, programming specifications, etc.Field service installation start-up integration, system optimization, maintenance, and warranty implementation.Troubleshoot hardware and software problems at customer siteProvide customer coordination of RA products and systems by performing the following function.On-site analysis and specification preparation.Hardware configuration – system and product application.Programming assistance.Project coordination between customer, OEM sales, product division, etcTechnical support – field start-up, integration and maintenance.DocumentationThe Essentials - You Will Have :University Degree in Engineering (Bachelors of Engineering or equivalent) or Trade qualification with additional tertiary education.5+ years engineering and field experienceDeliver technical presentations to internal and external customersDevelop relationships with main customers and partnersDemonstrates consultative and constructive dialogues with customers & team membersBackground in Automation is a plusUnderstanding of Variable speed drives, PLC Systems & Networking would be highly advantageous.The Preferred - You Might Also Have :Experience as Control Specialist / Power SpecialistExperience partnering with sales team and customersActive listening & collaborationMature, enthusiastic, team player, and customer-oriented individualGood presentation and communication skillsResults oriented and able to collaborate effectively with othersWhat We Offer :Our benefits package includes ...Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to CalmVolunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employeesCompany volunteer and donation matching program – Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation.Employee Assistance ProgramPersonalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack programOn-demand digital course library for professional developmentand other local benefits
